Ensure sufficient ink in the ink cartridges to prevent the print head from running dry, which can cause damage and clogging.
Check the waste ink tank level to prevent overflow during cleaning.
Pre-Printing Checks
Print a nozzle test pattern to confirm that the print head is in optimal condition. If the test pattern is unsatisfactory, perform a cleaning operation to achieve optimal print head performance.
Pre-Shutdown Checks

Post-Shutdown Checks
Check that the print head is properly capped to prevent prolonged exposure, which can cause unnecessary damage to the print head.
Check that the dryer is switched off and the power supply is disconnected.
Check that the paper take-up unit is switched off and the power supply is disconnected.
