Refilling Operation Key Points
Air Removal: For thermal inkjet printers, ensure there are no air bubbles in the ink path to prevent dry firing of the printhead; for micro-pressure motor models, after the first ink refill, let it stand for a while or click the ink loading function to allow the ink to fully integrate with the printhead.
Capacity Control: It is recommended to keep the ink cartridge capacity between 50% and 80% to avoid overfilling, which can cause abnormal printhead pressure or ink dripping, or underfilling, which can lead to dry printing and damage the printhead.
Environmental Adaptability Adjustments
In winter or summer, place the stored ink in the working environment for several hours in advance to ensure its temperature matches the equipment environment, avoiding fluidity problems caused by temperature differences.
In high-temperature environments, increase the printhead cleaning frequency; in low temperatures, pay attention to changes in ink viscosity and use a heating device if necessary to maintain ink fluidity.
Use of Auxiliary Tools
When refilling ink, it is recommended to use an ink refilling funnel or a special tube to prevent ink spillage and contamination of the equipment; regularly replace the ink path filter to prevent impurities from entering the printhead.
