The print head is the core component of a large-format inkjet printer. If the print head is not calibrated, printing ghosting is likely to occur. Prolonged use and machine movement/vibration can cause the print head position to shift.
Solution:
First, access the control panel of the large-format inkjet printer and find the print head calibration option. Generally, the printer will provide an automatic calibration function. Follow the instructions to start automatic calibration; the machine will automatically detect the print head position and adjust it. If automatic calibration is ineffective, you can try manual calibration. By printing a print head calibration test pattern, observe the direction and degree of ghosting, and fine-tune the horizontal and vertical position parameters of the print head in the corresponding settings. After each adjustment, print the test pattern again until the ghosting disappears.
